Welcome to my journal.

I am a lonely artist, who lives in a box of paints and pencils. I sing songs for the trees; they listen, but sometimes people do, too. My soul is painted in a hundred different colours, but mostly, I am royal blue when I'm not trying to be blush pink. I was a bird in a past life, and I believe in unicorns, dreamer's dreams and everyday miracles. Autumn fields are my home.

I am a thousand personalities; a million faces, facets and levels. Some of which, even I'm only beginning to get to know. And this is only one window into all that is me, the view from which is likely very limited. Words are flat, whereas I am living and breathing. I am an individual. If you cut me open, I bleed, although I can stitch myself back up again. I have endured rain and snow. I can flourish and blossom into something far greater.



I've decided to make this journal Friends Only from now on. Feel free to add me, but comment here just so I know and can add you back. :) However, there are a few things that one should keep in mind when reading me in my journal.

Item. Keep in mind, that when you read me in my journal, that it is only the written word. There is little that you will probably know about me from how restricted that is. It is hard to figure out the potentially deeper nature of a post when that is all it is. Because of this, I ask that you please respect me and the things I have to say.

Item. Please try and refrain from too heavily criticizing my artwork, prose and poetry (unless I specify otherwise). This is my personal journal - not the place I go for a critique.

Item. I post a lot of silly crap, and it's unlikely that I'll end up using cuts for long entries or images (although I do use thumbnails most times). Just to forewarn you. :P


That being said, feel free to add me. I'm eager to get to know my neighbours on lj, and thank you for your interest in reading me. <3
